This picture with Pope John Paul II was taken, I think, in October of 1984, maybe on the Feast of the Little Flower. The Sister is  Sister J. Sheila Galligan, IHM, of Philadelphia, who was  as doctoral candidate at the time [She now teaches at Immaculata College in PA]. A group of us had participated in the Pope's morning Mass in his private chapel - and he greeted us after the mass.
